Guys! Sorry for the inactivity on the blog leading up to Christmas. I had so many amazing ideas planned but when the flu knocks you down…you have to take a much needed break. I’m almost to the other side of this thing so I can’t wait to be up and running to continue providing you with awesome content for all of your fashion needs.
After Christmas sales have begun, and one of the most infamous ones comes from my favorite department store. Nordstrom’s Half Yearly sale is going on right now, and there are even some great items to complete your New Year’s Eve look (if you haven’t shopped for that yet). If you are in a hurry and live near a Nordstrom, one of my favorite things to do is the pick-up in store option. You shop online, choose a Nordstrom location, and add to cart. You will receive an email when your items are ready to be picked up, which is usually less than 24 hours. Keep in mind though that this can make inventory limited as they will pull from directly from the store of your choosing.
If you loved my silk J.Crew top (#8, sold out at Nordstrom but is still available at J.Crew) from a previous post here, then you are in luck because it is currently on sale for under $60. It feels so luxurious on, and the tie front is really flattering to show off a smaller waist. I may be only slightly obsessed with #10. They re giving me major 70’s workwear vibes and I can easily see them being paired with a cream knit or for nighttime with a navy silk blouse.
You can wear #4 to finish off your New Year’s Eve look. A statement earring is the perfect accessory for a simple look. If you don’t want to opt for a va-va-voom top or dress that you will probably only wear once, you can always play up your jewelry. One of my favorite things to do!
