While I consider polka dots to be a classic, it is probably the hottest print this season that you have to try. It is the perfect print to look on trend, but still wearable and uber versatile year after year. In this post, I am sharing how you can master wearing polka dots with items you already own and how you can style this reminiscent Minnie Mouse print in a modern way.

If you have been following me for awhile then you will know that I love to add feminine pieces to a casual look. It’s what I have always been drawn to, and polka dots are the perfect representation of that. However, that doesn’t mean if you consider your style more edgy or boyish that you can’t rock this fun print.
I truly believe that you can add almost anything to your wardrobe that you want just by how you style it. I’ve paired this J.Crew one shoulder blouse with my favorite jacket of the moment (I told you guys it was super versatile), a woven bag because let’s be honest I can’t be without one, and my favorite pop of color with these Loeffler Randall sandals.
My favorite way to rock this print is by keeping it simple and letting the polka dots be the main focus. It is the easiest and most wearable way to incorporate a trend or a bolder print.
I think the coolest way to wear this print would actually be in a complete polka dotted look. A polka dot blouse with a polka dot skirt and a jean jacket thrown over your shoulders could be a really cool take on this trend.
Just remember if you want to rock head to toe polka dots make sure the prints are different sizes and opt for neutral colors if you are a bit unsure of how to style it. You will look Instagram ready in no time.

Polka dots are such a great print to rock. Seriously they look so good on so many people and there is so much to rock with colors, patterns, and more. Dots have never been my favorite but I LOVE how other folks style them.

I am absolutely loving the polka dot trend this season — I think it’s so fun and it’s a pattern that is flattering on everyone. One of my favorite ways to wear them is at the office — a pair of polka dots slacks and a button-down shirt is a nice way to be more office-friendly and add some fun in at the same time!
