You wouldn’t think of pink as a traditional moody and earthy Fall color like that of olive, burgundy, and cognac. To me, pink is a color that can be worn year-round and adds that touch of fun or femininity to any outfit. I never realized I was so much of a pink advocate, but I have realized over the years it is my power color – that color that makes me feel great when I wear it and like I can conquer the world.

Everyone has a power color.

Pink is also a surprisingly flattering color on a lot of different skin tones. You just have to find your right shade. Blush pink is my favorite and is probably the hue that I would say is flattering on most. I love that blush pink is elegant, feminine, and still a neutral.

After seeing a lot of different fashion bloggers that I personally love rocking bright pink I decided to add my own twist on this in your face hue. Bright pink is actually easier to pair then one might think as long as you let it be the focal point.

That means keep the rest of the look sleek, simple, and muted.

I paired this bright pink French Connection sweater with a sleek leather skirt and my favorite knee-high boots (the best Fall/Winter staple you could ever invest in, trust me!). For a casual and everyday look, I would wear this with a pair of distressed jeans and white booties, which are the shoe of the season.

LOVING this neon knit!! There is one from Zara that I have my eye on and now you’re making me want to pull the trigger. I love how you styled it with leather, it’s the perfect contrast with bright pink! x Shannon • http://www.essellesse.com

Thank you so much for your sweet comment! I am so happy you enjoyed it. I normally don’t opt for bright pink but I felt like it was a great break from those dark Fall colors 🙂
