It is never too soon to start thinking about the next season so you can carefully curate your wardrobe. It can be overwhelming to be thrown in midseason and try to figure out what is on trend or hot this season while the racks have already been picked over. When you stay ahead of the curve you can slowly see the trends trickle down from runway to department store and then the high street. It also gives you ample time to figure out which trends you will be rocking and/or save money for those big ticket items like the latest handbag. I am a major handbag girl myself.
In this post, I will be sharing with you the 10 hottest trends for this Fall and Winter as seen on the runways and shapable items so you can translate these trends into your everyday wardrobe.
Graphic tees are having a major comeback, and I am loving it. After the mid-2000’s I swore off graphic tees as they were so off trend. Does anyone else remember the team Jen and team Angelina tees? I was team Jen since Friends was one of my favorite shows.
I love graphic tees because they add a quirky and playful addition to any outfit. Jeans and a simple tee never go out of style, but a graphic tee can add that element of interest that I always look for in my outfits. How can you wear this style in 2017? You can always go for the classic jeans and tee look. To make it modern, pair with uneven hem jeans and funky slides like this sequin pair or this hot pink pair. If a skirt is more your vibe then pair with this fun gingham print skirt and these star sandals (two trends in one look). If you’re not willing to shell out major bucks on the designer tees (like the adorable Chanel Coco Cuba tee), you can still take part in this trend as you’ll find these tees at all price points.
Whatever way you decide to pair this look, I can bet it will stick around into the New Year. Are you loving graphic tees?
Remember when you first saw Wizard of Oz and fell in love with Dorothy’s singtaure gingham dress? I do! This print is clearly timeless as it is still going strong in fashion today. If you love this print then you’re in luck because it is a major trend this spring and summer season. There is something girly, playful, and fresh about gingham.

Below, I’ve created a list of a few of my favorite spring and summer trends that I have seen pop up everywhere from runways to my favorite bloggers. What I love about this season is that the trends are upbeat and fashion forward. Everyone is not afraid to really translate runway style into everyday life, and I feel like I haven’t seen this in awhile. Runway fashion is always inspirational, but when it is translated by brands into “real” fashion it changes drastically. For the first time in awhile, you can see the direct translation from runway to ready to wear. As a fashion lover, it makes me so excited to see other people who love this as much as I do.
I also love the spring/summer season as I feel like the warmer weather gives more freedom to dressing. I know I have said this 100 times, and be prepared to hear this from me 100 more times. The sun makes me so happy, and I think this reflects in my style.
Spring is upon us, and I am so excited that it is getting closer to my favorite season…summer. I love warm weather, sunny days, and I am also a summer baby (that may be a part of the reason I love that season so much). If you have been keeping up with the trends or follow and bloggers/instagram “it” girls, you will know that blush pink is the color of the moment. I can’t seem to get enough of it, and I am not alone. The color is so feminine, soft, and a great alternative to the traditional neutrals.
One trend lately that I cannot get enough of is fur shoes! I never thought I would say that, and I feel like it is one of those things you either absolutely love or it makes you want to vomit. I think there is something so chic but playful about this look.
Especially, when it is paired with a more sophisticated look, and the fun shoe can add a different element to take your look up a notch. I am on the hunt for a pair where the fur looks like it is good quality, and not the Frederick’s of Hollywood fur slipper kind of look. Though, I did try to buy those when I was young and my mother told me I was silly.
I may consider myself a handbag junkie, and spend the majority of my money on this accessory. However, what girl can resist a gorgeous and quality shoe. Much like a great handbag, shoes can elevate your look from something simple to something wow.
I wanted to share with you my recent obsession with Aquazzura shoes. Everyone from celebrities to bloggers alike are rocking this brand’s shoes. I have to say that Aquazzura just seems to get the design right everytime. They know how to offer a modern and creative twist on a classic shoe, which is exactly my style. It makes “high fashion” wearable for the everyday woman.
