OUTFIT DETAILS: STRIPE SWEATER (OLD, SIMILAR) | BLACK JEANS | LOEWE BAG | GOLDEN GOOSE SNEAKERS (AFFORDABLE ALTERNATIVE)
I’ve been anxiously awaiting sunny spring weather, but it doesn’t seem like it’s quite there yet. As much as I’ve found some great sweaters and enjoyed living in my joggers this winter, I’m over bulky layers. So ready for breezy dresses and sandals. Just me?
To feel my most confident this spring I’ve been trying to create a gym routine—something I’ve never done in my life before. With my 30th birthday just around the corner, it seems like my metabolism has started to slow down. I don’t think I appreciated my 20’s body and the ability to eat whatever I wanted…until now. The motivation to work out regularly can be hard with a full-time job, but I’m trying to make it more enjoyable by listening to podcasts (one that is mentioned below in my Friday Favorites).
If you’re unfamiliar with my Friday Favorites blog posts, it’s where I share everything that I’ve been loving in one place. That way if you don’t follow me on all of my different platforms you can still find out what I’m loving. Today I’m sharing shows to binge-watch, what’s in my cart for spring, a new fashion find from Walmart and more.

WHAT I’VE BEEN LOVING: FRIDAY FAVORITES #23
SHOWS TO BINGE-WATCH
– Love is Blind (Netflix)
– Secrets of Playboy (Hulu)
– Inventing Anna (Netflix)
NEW FAVORITE PODCASTS
– Find Jodi—I was watching a 20/20 special about a female reporter that vanished in the early morning hours on her way to work in 1995 and has never been found. I was so intrigued by the special that I had to learn more and found the Find Jodi podcast created by investigative reporters that have been on the case since 2003. There are so many twists and turns in this case that you have to give it a listen and can teach all of us women to be more cautious.
FASHION FIND UNDER $30
This striped sweater from Walmart is only $28 and I’m obsessed. It comes in two colorways and gives me those Totême sweater vibes but for much less. I’ve been wanting the infamous Totême stripe sweater, but I’m not willing to pay $500+ for a striped sweater.
RECENT HOME BUYS
– Champagne coupe—It’s only $34 for a set of 4 and looks much more expensive.
– Standing steamer—I much prefer steaming over ironing because it’s much gentler to your fabrics and helps them last over time. This standing steamer has been a lifesaver.
– Weighted blanket—I never thought I would get on the weighted blanket trend, but it is actually really calming.
WHAT’S IN MY CART
– Pink Veja sneakers—such a fun pop of color and a more affordable alternative to my beloved Golden Goose sneakers.
– Hermes mini kelly dupe—I already have this mini bag in black and cannot stop wearing it. I think this warm brown would be perfect for spring and summer.
– Colorful oxford shirt—These pastel colors are perfect for warmer days and so versatile. Wear it as a blouse, over a swimsuit, or throw it over a dress if it’s too cold to go sleeveless.
