We’re still in the midst of winter (unfortunately). So if you’re in a fashion rut and tired of wearing the same thing over and over again I wanted to provide you all with some winter outfit inspiration with looks from my real wardrobe. This winter was all about comfort and warmth for me.
I never thought I would be rocking joggers as much as I did, but there is something to be said for a fashionable pair of joggers that can take you from day-t0-night. I opted for suede or leather joggers to elevate this casual item.
My go-to winter outfit this season was a pair of joggers, a cashmere sweater or stripe t-shirt, and white sneakers. It’s a great outfit to run errands in, feel put together when working from home, and even wear to a casual dinner. Yep, I was a jogger girl this season.
My favorite aspect of cold weather fashion is adding textures to a winter outfit. Think leather, wool, suede, silk, and more. Winter fashion can tend to get very stark and “cold” looking (pun intended). To avoid this juxtapose something edgy or masculine with feminine or classic pieces.
This wool biker jacket from All Saints can feel very masculine so I added a classic stripe t-shirt and elegant mini kelly dupe to balance that out. If you have a difficult time adding leather into your look try pairing it with a silk blouse or cashmere sweater so it doesn’t feel as harsh.
