After a few years of the athleisure look, you’ll see a resurgence of occasion wear for spring 2023. That means pink, ruffles, sparkles, metallics, and more. Everyone wants to leave the difficulty of the last few years behind us and have a reason to dress up—be more playful with their outfits.
Also this season is moving away from 90’s looks a la Clueless to Y2K fashion. Think cargo pants, chunky sandals, baguette bags, and bucket hats.
Last year was about the mini, but it’s back to the maxi. Thankfully! For a casual daytime look pair a denim maxi (the skirt of the season) with a brightly colored polo sweater and chunky sandals. Bonus points for a double denim look by adding an oversized or cropped denim jacket.
