I always feel a sense of freedom in my wardrobe when dressing for Spring and Summer. Many girls I know are #Fall and love scarf and boot weather, but not this girl. Give me sunshine all day, straw bags, flowy dresses, and eating al fresco.
The weather in Switzerland has been absolutely wonderful lately (to make up for the miserable winter I’m sure) and I have finally had the opportunity to wear my favorite Spring pieces. It’s even inspired me to buy a few more key items for my wardrobe this season. Keep reading to see the fun basics that will complete my Spring uniform.

My everyday wardrobe has definitely simplified over the years. No more restrictive clothes, fussy outfits, or loud ensembles. I love a good simple base and building from there with items that show my personality and my flair for fashion, which is where my Spring uniform comes into play.
Can you ever go wrong with classic jeans and a tee? I think not. I am loving this simple white graphic tee (other styles I am loving here and here) and my stretchiest ankle skimming denim. If you’re a petite woman with a booty I highly suggest giving Wit & Wisdom or NYDJ a try. You can find these brands at Nordstrom, and the styles are slimming while still great for showing off your shape.
I was in the market for a shoe for that in between weather – too hot to wear booties but too cold for open-toed shoes. These See by Chloe espadrilles were exactly what I was looking for. I love the slight platform and the natural color of the suede makes this shoe really versatile. I can imagine this paired with a white cotton dress and a jean jacket or ripped denim and a floral blouse.
I think it’s safe to say that I will be wearing these items non-stop this season and I already have my Spring uniform figured out.
