Off the shoulder dresses are my favorite style for Spring and Summer. I don’t think my wardrobe could be complete without one. It’s fun, flirty, and the perfect way to show a bit of skin without feeling over-exposed (if you know what I mean). It’s also really flattering for so many different age groups.
I am loving this simple off the shoulder dress from ASOS and know it will be the perfect item to dress up and down this Summer. This dress comes in a few different colors, and since I love this LBD so much I will have to purchase it in the olive color – which will look really great with a tan.
I’ve mentioned in other blog posts that my strategy to getting dressed is all about simplicity and versatility. I love to throw on a simple outfit and accessorize with unique pieces so it looks like I really put a lot of thought into my look. When in reality, I actually put a lot of thought into my purchase so the end result can be easy.
A simple off the shoulder dress is the perfect grab and go type of item you need this Summer. You can pair it with these Steve Madden sandals (dupes for my Hermes version above), classic black sunglasses, and a tote bag (on sale) so you are good to go all day. If you want to dress up this outfit for the evening then these wedge espadrilles and an elegant silk scarf would be the perfect compliment.

Loved your post and your dress! I love off the shoulder dresses and I actually just found out about ASOS like literally 5 minutes ago and wasn’t sure if it was a trust-worthy brand! I was looking for a handbag color that Nordstrom didn’t carry and I found it on ASOS but I was like, “Uh? I’ve never heard of this brand?”

Thank you so much for your comment! It really is a small world. How funny when it works out like that. I have been shopping on ASOS for 8 years now. Not everything is great quality, but all you have to do is look at the material the item is made out of. I prefer natural fabrics like cotton, linen, etc. I’ll return anything that isn’t up to my standards.
This dress though is quality and I’ve already worn it several times 🙂
