Animal print for Spring and Summer? I bet you’re thinking I’m crazy and conjuring images up of 90’s Fran Drescher on The Nanny (a great show, but the style was quite unique, to say the least). Animal print is often associated with the colder months and was a major trend this past Fall.

However, animal print is so versatile and you could even consider it a neutral due to the base colors of this jungle-inspired print. It’s the perfect nod to nature and works well with the natural textures that dominate Spring and Summer fashion.

Think wicker bags, straw espadrilles, and wooden accessories.

I’m not one to dress in animal print from head to toe, but if you are confident enough it can definitely be pulled off.  Instead, I prefer to add animal print as accents against a neutral outfit.

#4 would look perfect paired with a midi dress and my favorite Castañer espadrilles. I can just imagine #2 styled with black bikini bottoms for that fun mix-and-match look and gives you just a taste of animal print.

The hair accessories trend is one of the biggest and least expensive trends at the moment. Just throw on #1 with a simple black cami and straight leg jeans for an easy but versatile outfit.
