Styling Fall Outfits from My Capsule Wardrobe

Dallas fashion blogger shares how to style fall outfits from a fall capsule wardrobe

Recently I wrote a blog post sharing my picks for a fall 2020 capsule wardrobe because surprisingly fall is just around the corner. I hope you didn’t think I’d leave you hanging after showing you my fall picks. Now I’m going to show how you can style numerous fall outfits just from those 25 curated pieces.

I’ve realized the idea of a capsule wardrobe is still something many aren’t familiar with. So what is one anyway?

The purpose of a capsule wardrobe is to create a carefully thought out collection of pieces that become your seasonal go-to’s and can take you effortlessly from day-to-night. Capsule wardrobes are often filled with neutrals and basics for each season because it’s all about using just these selected items to create endless fall outfits.

To me, it’s always been important to maximize your wardrobe and budget, but during these uncertain times, I think it’s even more important to build an intentional wardrobe of items that define my beloved cost per wear philosophy. Don’t waste your money on that cute but incredibly impractical blouse that only goes with that one pair of pants. Been there, done that!

Let me show you how you can style items from my capsule wardrobe to create the ultimate fall outfits (including a few you can even wear right now).

Great idea to show actionable ways to style a capsule wardrobe! It’s hard for me to wrap my mind around actually styling and wearing a capsule wardrobe, so this is helpful.

I love how this capsule wardrobe uses colour too! So many are exclusively neutrals!

So happy to hear that! I think some colors make great neutrals like blush pink or green so had to throw them in there 🙂

I am so happy to hear that! It was my goal to create a capsule wardrobe that was wearable, and also had some variety. It’s not fun to wear the same few items over and over 🙂

These outfits are highly creative and make the idea of a capsule wardrobe more appealing and attainable. I love the mixture of prints and solids!

I love to hear that! I wanted a capsule wardrobe that was wearable and still fun. No one wants to wear the same things over and over again. If you try it out let me know what you think 🙂
