Now that Spring is here and we seem like we are nearing the end of COVID there are more joyful celebrations on the horizon. If you’re looking for chic gift ideas this spring whether for Mother’s Day, birthdays, pregnancy announcements, or more I’ve compiled a list of a few of my never-fail favorites.
I love giving gifts that everyone wants but we don’t typically buy for ourselves. To me, that makes it more special and unexpected truly bringing a smile to someone’s face, which is exactly what gifting is all about.
From luxury candles to roses that last a year these spring gift ideas can work for any occasion you have this season and provide you with some added inspiration.
5 SPRING GIFT IDEAS THAT NEVER FAIL
LUXURY CANDLES
I have yet to find someone who doesn’t love candles and that’s why one of my favorite gifts to give is luxury candles.
I often recommend Voluspa candles because they come in beautiful packaging that looks like decor pieces at a reasonable price. I usually purchase the glass jar candles for around $30, and currently have one on my coffee table.
Since it’s spring opt for fresh scents such as peonies, gardenia, lavender, eucalyptus, or citrus.
PRESERVED ROSES
Can you never go wrong with a bouquet of fresh flowers? It’s not something we often buy for ourselves as it’s an expensive habit to keep up, but truly makes a difference in your space. Having flowers in your home actually has positive psychological effects and is a great stress relief…yes, please!
If you want to take your gift to the next level consider purchasing preserved roses that last an entire year without needing to be watered. That means your gift keeps giving for the rest of the year. I love displaying my preserved roses where I can see them the most from my coffee table to my nightstand. It’s a special gift that comes beautifully packaged in a customizable box.
Le Jardin Infini is currently having a Mother’s Day sale so you can purchase a large bouquet for a loved one at 50% off.
SILK SCARVES
Silk scarves have made a comeback in the last year or so, but have been a wardrobe essential of mine since I was in my early teens. It’s an easy way to add elegance to any outfit (even jeans and a t-shirt) and a quick pop of color. The best part is that you can personalize the scarf to your loved one’s taste.
Do they typically wear neutrals? Find an understated white or navy scarf. If they love to wear color then opt for bright pops of spring color. You can find silk scarves at all price points from Kate Spade to Gucci.
COLORFUL TABLEWARE
Tableware has definitely made a resurgence this year as I think we are all itching to entertain again in our homes.
I wouldn’t worry about having to gift entire sets as mixing and matching seems to be the trend. A great gift idea this spring would be to opt for drinking glasses in pastel shades, a beautiful serving tray, or a water pitcher that could double as a vase. It’s all about those special pieces we don’t tend to treat ourselves with.
SPRING BEAUTY ESSENTIALS
This is a great gift idea for the loved one who you feel needs to take that extra moment to pamper themselves or loves beauty. This can get a bit tricky since it’s hard to know someone’s skin type or personal preference when it comes to beauty.
However, these are some never-fail beauty products that work for everyone:
- Nail polish as open-toe shoe season is almost here
- Facial sprays to refresh the face or makeup when it’s hot outside
- Sheet masks in a variety pack
- Hand lotion as we all have drier hands from so much sanitizing
Thanks to Le Jardin Infini for sending me this free product to test out! All opinions are 100% my own, and I only accept products from brands that I would/have purchased with my own money. Click here if you want to know more about my blog policy.
Well those preserved roses are beautiful! I’ll have to look out for those.
