Life has been crazy lately to say the least – apologies for the lack of blog posts lately, but I will get back to regular programming soon. Since I haven’t had a lot of time behind the scenes I thought the best way to get back to blogging was sharing my Friday Favorites – a round up of all the things I’ve been loving from beauty, fashion, home, and more.
Click here to read my past Friday Favorites blog posts. Between leaving my old job and starting a new one a few days later, I’ve been working on setting up my home office. Even though I’ve been working remotely since the pandemic started I never had a dedicated office space. With this big career move I felt like it was time to set up a permanent space.
I cannot wait to share the final outcome with you, but I’m currently working off a foldable table. Finding a desk that is the right size, style, price, and can be shipped within the next two weeks has been quite the challenge. I plan to mix my husband’s more modern/sleek style with my love for chinoiserie. Stay tuned for an office reveal!

FRIDAY FAVORITES #21: WHAT HAVE I BEEN LOVING
NEW FAVORITE PODCAST
To say I’m obsessed with Murder in Alliance would be saying it lightly. I tell everyone about it because if you love true crime then you will be as engrossed as I was to hear this investigation play out. The entire season is dedicated to one crime that happened in 1999 and sent an innocent man to prison…or is he? The season focuses on investigating to see if the case can be re-opened and it’s truly full of twists and turns.
SERIES TO BINGE WATCH
– Squid Games (Netflix)
– House of Secrets: The Burari Deaths (Netflix)
– Seinfeld (Netflix) – was added to Netflix this month!
– Futurama (Hulu) – an old classic I’m re-watching
CHIC HAND SANITIZER
Yes, I did say chic. I never thought hand sanitizer could be interesting or chic until Touchland reached out to me to test out their line of hand sanitizers. I can officially say I’m a convert and would gladly spend my own money on these stylist sanitizers. They come in a number of subtle scents and unscented so you don’t have that overpowering chemical/alcohol smell. They are a spray so super quick to dry and now I have one in my car, my handbag at all times, and even gave a few to friends.
SETTING UP MY NEW OFFICE
Since I just started my new job I’ve been in the process of setting up my home office. My essentials so far have been:
– The comfiest desk chair that still looks like decor
– My favorite notebooks for those who still love to jot down ideas by hand
– My favorite pens that make your handwriting look amazing
– Still no permanent desk (if you watch my IG stories then you would have heard about my desk debacle)
WARDROBE CLEAR OUT
With each new season I’m all about clearing out the wardrobe – getting rid of the old and bringing in the new. One of the ways I did that this season is to get rid of luxury bags that I was holding onto but haven’t worn in some time. I traded in two bags with Rebag and now have two “new” bags that I’m obsessed with.
I found Rebag to have the most seamless process and fair trade-in pricing (some well-known sites offered way less than what the bags were worth). I traded in to receive this Loewe puzzle bag and Ferragamo shoulder bag.
TRANSITIONAL FALL STAPLES
If it’s still not quite fall where you live, like Texas, then here are the items I’ve been reaching for to add fall elements to my wardrobe or help on those slightly cooler days:
– Denim jacket – this boyfriend fit denim jacket is on sale for $30!
– Golden Goose sneakers – goodbye sandals and hello closed toed shoes. It’s not quite boot weather yet so I’ve been wearing these nonstop. Here is a great affordable alternative to the Golden Goose sneakers.
– Cashmere sweater – I’ve been wearing this over the shoulders to add a little bit of extra warmth. Plus it makes any outfit appear put together.
