Red is the “It” Color for Fall

Ok when I’m melting the second I step outside, it might feel a bit too early to talk about Fall trends. But I just had to share this one with you so you could start gathering pieces little by little — especially since this “trend” is something you can wear regardless of the season. Red is going to be one of the biggest “it” colors for Fall. You caught it here!

We’ve been enjoying a lot of neutrals the last few years and recently a pop of hot pink, but red will be the bold color for Fall. Think of everything from bright cherry reds to deep merlot purply hues. I’ve never been a big red fan (even though it’s a classic). I always felt like if I was going to do a pop of color pink is where it’s at for me, but I have to say I’m actually excited for red this year. I can tell because I’ve already started to curate red pieces for my ideal Fall wardrobe, even though it’s 1 million degrees in Texas.

In the last few years, we’ve seen a resurgence of nude nails, but come Fall bright, red nails will be everywhere. If all-over red nails seem a bit daunting try a French manicure with red tips to act as an accent.

I recently posted about how the Hermes Picotin bag will be the new Hermes bag to take over. Check out my blog post where I reviewed the best Picotin dupe I’ve ever come across. Imagine that bucket bag in cherry with an all-white or all-black outfit for Fall.

With the resurgence of classic styles — thanks to Sophia Richie — a red ballet flat will be the perfect addition to any Fall look.
