With the upcoming holidays and soon-to-be Black Friday sales, I thought now would be a good time to share the beauty products I keep repurchasing. Many of these products I’ve been using for years so they are tried and true with several under the clean beauty category.
The last few years I’ve really gotten into clean beauty, something I once thought was another industry scheme but to be honest really saved my skin a few years ago when I was dealing with hormonal breakouts. Now I haven’t looked back and continue to add more and more clean beauty products to my routine.
My skin type for reference: early 30’s, dry and prone to clogged pores on my cheeks and chin.
BEAUTY PRODUCTS I KEEP REPURCHASING
SKINCARE
The Ordinary Glycolic Acid 7% Exfoliating Toner — My favorite type of daily chemical exfoliant and it’s only $13
The Ordinary AHA 30% + BHA 2% Exfoliating Peeling Solution — I now use this once a week for 10 minutes as a super impactful exfoliating treatment
Tatcha The Dewy Skin Cream Plumping & Hydrating Moisturizer — It may be a pricey daily moisturizer but it contains such high quality ingredients like Japanese purple rice and Squalane
Youth to the People Superberry Hydrate + Glow Dream Night Cream + Mask with Vitamin C — One of my favorite thirst-quenching overnight facial masks that is also a clean beauty product
Paula’s Choice CLINICAL 1% Retinol Treatment — I’ve tried several retinol treatments (both clean beauty and super strong professional grade), but I keep coming back to this one because it just works
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask Intense Hydration with Vitamin C — I always have one by my bed and works great even for those who have very dry lips
LANEIGE Lip Glowy Balm — This is the lip balm I keep in my handbags and am never without
Clinique All About Eyes — If you are looking for a great all round eye moisturizer this is the one to use (been a repeat for 10 years)
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water — For years I exclusively used the Bioderma micellar water as the first step to my beauty routine, but I discovered that the Garnier version worked just as well and was much cheaper
MAKEUP
MERIT The Minimalist Perfecting Complexion Foundation & Concealer Stick — If you prefer a quick makeup routine with lighter coverage that is buildable then this is the foundation for you
MERIT Bronze Balm Sheer Sculpting Bronzer — For those that want a subtle, natural contour this is a great product for that as it glides on easily and almost does the work for you
BeautyBlender Original BeautyBlender Makeup Sponge — This is a holy grail product for a reason and dupes just don’t seem to be able to blend as flawlessly as the original
Maybelline Great Lash Clear Mascara — I’ve used this to set my brows for the last 15 years and works just as well as brow setting gels (I mean they are the same thing in my eyes so why not opt for the $8 version)
BODY & HAIR CARE
First Aid Beauty KP Bump Eraser Body Scrub — If you suffer with pesky dry skin and bumps then use this infamous scrub twice a week
OSEA Malibu Undaria Algae™ Body Oil — A clean beauty oil that sinks into your skin and is incredibly hydrating, no need to wait to put on clothes after applying (which I love)
Necessair The Hand Cream — My favorite hand cream that has zero scent and has ceramides and peptides that actually reverse dryness
Alterna Caviar Shampoo & Conditioner — I’ve tried many brands but always come back to Alterna (even used by many salons)
Slip Scrunchies — Once you use these scrunchies you’ll never go back because they are specifically designed to not give you hair creases or get stuck in your hair
Slip Silk Pillowcase — I’ve tried the Amazon dupes but they just don’t match the quality of the original in terms of thickness and quality of the silk
