MY EASY HOLIDAY PARTY LOOK:

Not all of us have the money for an extravagant holiday party look that will most likely be worn once or even want to splurge on something that screams holiday. I wanted to create a party look that could be easily replicated and I would 100% wear to a casual cocktail party or to dinner. This silk J.Crew blouse is to die for (currently on sale)! It adds that touch of luxe from the silk, but can be worn throughout the season. I love the added detail of the tie front because it’s perfect for creating that narrow looking waist.

I wore a simple pair of black skinny jeans by my favorite brand -NYDJ. They work well for those women who have behinds, and the length is perfect all of my fellow petite ladies out there. You have no idea how hard it is to find truly petite length denim. For that added element of glamour we want for holiday parties, I wore my new BaubleBar statement hoop earrings, which make the look. I also love this blush pair and this shimmery one! Your holiday look is complete – black denim, silk blouse, and statement earrings.

Now go enjoy that party!

TWO HOLIDAY COCKTAILS YOU NEED TO SERVE:

Want fun drinks that are also super easy to make? I have included two holiday cocktail recipes that are not only Instagram ready, but will impress your guests – whether it’s for your family, a large party with friends, or just a fun night in with girlfriends. Each recipe has only a few ingredients, and both drinks share many of the same items so you don’t have to break the bank this season.

Read below for the recipes: Cranberry Margarita and Cranberry Orange Prosecco Cocktail.

Cranberry Margarita –

*You can find the original recipe here.

  • 1 1/2 cups cranberry juice (look for 100% juice)
  • 3/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 cup tequila (I used Jose Cuervo Gold)
  • 1/2 cup orange-flavored liqueur, such as Cointreau or Triple Sec
  • ice cubes

Garnish with a fun sugar rimmed glass and fresh cranberries and a lime.
