This denim jacket has been surprisingly versatile, and adds that element of cool to any look I wear.
Since I love this item in my wardrobe so much, I thought how can I find new ways to extend it into winter. In today’s post I am going to show you how to winterize your favorite denim jacket – we all have one!

This star printed denim jacket was such a surprising buy for me, but one of the best ones this year. This just proves to me that stepping outside of your fashion comfort zone can be a great thing! I had been wearing my basic denim jacket so much over the last few years so I decided it was time to find a unique twist on this wardrobe classic. That is how I acquired this fun star printed version of your typical denim jacket that everyone owns.

The quickest way to winterize your favorite denim jacket and make sure that you get the most out of it, is to pair the jacket with a chunky turtleneck (like this one I am wearing from J.Crew), and your go-to winter booties. These white booties have become a staple of mine this season. I love how it compliments the silver of my handbag and the metallic stars on the denim jacket while keeping everything fairly monochromatic.
For extra warmth, you could add a blanket scarf (like this pink one here – one of my favorite colors for winter) and a pom pom hat. It would make such a casual but really on trend look. This star printed denim jacket continues to surprise me as I find new ways to wear it, and those are always the best finds. Who knew such a unique jacket would become a wardrobe staple.
