My Favorite Affordable Sweater Brand

I would consider myself a lover of luxury and have created a nice little collection over the years. However, that definitely doesn’t mean I don’t shop or love more affordable brands. Why spend more money if you don’t have to, right?

In reality, all I care about when adding something to my wardrobe is quality, fit, and cost per wear. 

Earlier in the Fall, I wrote a blog post about one of my favorite cold weather necessities that you can score at all different price points (really you can) – cashmere sweaters. If cashmere sweaters are not quite your cup of tea then you will love this.

I’ve known about French Connection for many years but for some reason never really explored the brand until this Winter. The brand is sold at Nordstrom so all of my fellow Nordstrom lovers you are in luck! I already own four sweaters from the brand and have pleasantly surprised by the quality (see how I style them here and here).

The sweaters are around $120 and under but regularly go on sale for around 40% off. I find that they fit TTS and to be honest I have worn them non-stop this season.

I love to throw on a French Connection sweater with raw hem jeans and my Aquatalia boots for a casual winter “uniform” that can take me anywhere – running errands or dinner with friends.
