I’ve never been much of a loungewear person. To be honest, when I’m at home I’m in my favorite J.Crew pajama sets or in my bathrobe. However, given our current situation still under quarantine, I thought this type of blog post would be very appropriate. After this, I think we’ll see a big push towards wearable loungewear and comfortable clothes.

If you’re looking for a wearable “fashion” sneaker – something that has an athletic vibe but you wouldn’t wear to the gym- then Veja sneakers are a great option. They give the same feel as the Golden Goose sneakers, but at around $100 are much more affordable.

I’m partial to the Golden Goose version and I previously wrote a blog post about why I think Golden Goose sneakers are worth the investment. But these Veja sneakers with a pop of pink have caught my eye.

You can’t go wrong with joggers for a loungewear edit, but I wanted to add something different – the t-shirt dress. As a self-proclaimed girly-girl and dress lover, there is nothing quite as comfortable as a t-shirt dress. It’s also a versatile piece that you can take easily from day-to-night.

Throw it on after the gym if you’re heading to lunch with your Veja sneakers and this canvas tote. Wear it on a date night with my favorite Castañer espadrilles, a dark denim jacket, and a top handle bag.

In the coming months, I think we will be seeing how loungewear can transition outside of the home and gym.
