Clean skincare is a hot topic right now in the beauty world but is not something I have quite ventured into. When Bloomeffects, a brand I’ve watched grow since before the release of their first product, reached out to me I thought I might give this clean skincare thing a try.

In this company’s short existence, it has been amazing to see the glowing reviews and you can now find their products featured in every major magazine from Elle to Glamour to Marie Claire, which is a big win for this female-founded company.

So, what makes Bloomeffects unique?

All of their products are created with their secret Dutch Tulip complex – the founder’s husband is a fourth-generation tulip farmer in the Netherlands, FYI.  This clean brand harnesses the power of Dutch tulips for its natural antioxidants and amino acids to create smoother and more hydrated skin.

I’ve tried snail serum and now I’ve tried tulips on my face. What’s next?

BLOOMEFFECTS ROYAL TULIP NECTAR REVIEW

For the last month, I’ve been testing out their award-winning Royal Tulip Nectar – their ultra-hydrating ointment to serum.

The texture of this product is unlike anything I’ve tried in a skincare product before and would describe it as a thick jelly in the pot. However, when applied it isn’t sticky and comes out as a nice thin hydrating layer over your skin.

I prefer to use the Royal Tulip Nectar as an overnight mask as it does leave a sheen on the skin so it might be difficult to apply in the morning before makeup. The smallest amount goes a long way, and they even give you a tulip spatula for an extra sanitary application.

When I wake up my skin is hydrated, plump, and doesn’t have that tightness that I often feel. Dry skin girl over here!  Can you relate?

Since it’s clean skincare you can use it with breakouts and you don’t have to worry about clogged pores or harsh chemicals making it worse. Their products are made without parabens, sulfates, fragrances, synthetic dyes, and phthalates.

I was also given the chance to try their tulip tint, a cream product that can be used on the lips and cheeks for a natural flush.

I am all about cream blushes and actually haven’t used a powder blush in over a year. It comes out of the tube as bright pink but when stippled down turns into the prettiest rosy pink that would flatter many skin tones.

If you haven’t checked out Bloomeffects and are interested in clean skincare you should give this new brand a try! The story behind their products is really interesting and they always have great behind the scenes information on their Instagram.

My first thought is wow, that stuff is really pink! I’m glad to hear that you are finding results and getting rid of that tight feeling. I know how that goes, but it’s my lips right now that feel that way. This is a brand to keep an eye out on for sure!

That sounds very interesting! I love to try new beauty products and I guess, after all the other flowers, tulips might also have some exciting power 🙂

Thanks so much for commenting! It’s not something I had ever heard of before and if you watch their IG stories they provide a lot of great facts about tulips 🙂
