Well, this is definitely a topic I never thought I would be discussing on my blog, but in true 2020 fashion, anything goes – I’m talking about where to find fashionable face masks. Face masks have become a part of our daily routine and depending on where you live they may be required in different capacities.
I asked on my Instagram stories and received an overwhelming response to help you find stylish face masks.
Makes sense – We wear them everyday so why not find one that goes best with your wardrobe since it is the latest accessory for 2020. I’m currently using this pink face mask from Etsy, which is my favorite place to find affordable but unique masks. Mine comes with a filter, which I prefer for extra protection.
I’ve always followed the motto it’s better to be safe than sorry.
I also only use masks with an adjustable strap around the ears because just like clothing not everyone has the same size face. It’s an extra security measure and ensures you don’t have to pull up your face mask every 5 seconds.
Department stores like Nordstrom, Saks Fifth Avenue, or Bloomingdales have a great selection of fashionable face masks if you’re looking for a variety of patterns. Lele Sadoughi makes the prettiest and most feminine masks I’ve found yet.
While they are a bit pricer than others ($40 for a pack of 3), it is well worth it now that these have become a regular accessory in our routines. She even sells decorative mask chains that can be clipped or used later on sunglasses.
FYI – These retailers specify that these masks are not medical grade and they cannot make any health claims. If you were simply looking for stylish face masks I hope you found this post helpful! Let me know in the comments below if you have any other suggestions for upcoming blog posts that you would like to see.

Thanks for the suggestions- some of these patterns are lovely!
Just a quick side note, the blue mask on the bottom left has an exhalation valve on it. It’s a one-way valve, so this doesn’t impact the protection it provides to the wearer, but it does open fully on exhalation and is completely unfiltered. If the person wearing it is asymptomatic, the mask is not keeping any infectious particles they breathe out contained, so it’s currently not recommended for use during the pandemic.
Here’s a great summary if you want details!

Thank you so much for the info! I had no idea, but will definitely look at that link you sent 🙂
I’ve been growing my collection of fashionable face masks! I see them as a great opportunity to make a style statement. Love your selections. I don’t want to go too crazy because I know they will go away at some point, but then I find another that I need to have.

I feel the same way! I’m suspecting we’ll pribably wear them for the rest of the year so I’d like to have a few to change out. So happy you found it helpful 🙂
