Styling Sage Green for Fall

I have completely fallen in love with sage green this season. It’s the soft earthy tone we’ve all been needing this fall, and it can even act as a neutral. I love discovering new neutrals – those colors that you can pair with pretty much anything other than the traditional black, grey, white, and so on.

In the Nordstrom Anniversary sale a few months back I purchased this sage green cashmere sweater and can finally wear it! See how I styled the sweater in my latest Instagram post.

There are so many ways to style this soft green hue. You can pair this ruffled dress (it’s under $60) with a pair of knee-high suede boots or chunky combat boots for a mix of feminine and masculine. This juxtaposition can make for a really interesting look.

There is also nothing quite as chic as a full tonal outfit. To achieve that style a sage green sweater with olive green joggers and this Rag & Bone hobo bag. You’ll look like you walked off the pages of Vogue.

I’m hoping to add more sage green pieces to my wardrobe this season and it will take everything I have to not purchase all of my finds above. That’s the hazard of the job, I guess.
