I’m having a real moment with leather midi skirts and I’m screaming it from the rooftop! I even featured one in my latest blog post sharing my first holiday gift guide of the season. My obsession with midi skirts and midi dresses started last year.

I find something so chic about the midi length and you never have to worry about accidentally flashing someone…no Britney moments here!

A leather midi skirt is a surprisingly versatile item you need to add to your cold-weather wardrobe.

I’ve always been a fan of leather skirts for fall and winter paired with chunky knits and knee-high boots, but the leather midi skirt is the more updated version of that. Each season I focus on textures because that’s why truly makes an outfit more interesting.

In the fall and winter:

I love playing with leather, suede, velvet, and more.

I’m all about maximizing my wardrobe to get the most out of my money so if I purchase something it has to work in numerous ways. You could easily style a leather midi skirt during the daytime with a cashmere crewneck (J.Crew and Everlane have quality affordable options) or with a wool cardigan and silk cami like I did.

The key is casual accessories and my Golden Goose sneakers are always my go-to in that department.

To elevate this look for nighttime you could style this leather midi skirt (on sale for $40 but sold out in most sizes now, similar style available) with everything I’m wearing in this look but swap out the sneakers for a pair of heeled booties or a fun statement heel.

If you’re no longer #WFH you could transition this skirt into appropriate office attire with a classic button-up blouse (this Everlane one is my favorite) and Chanel-like top cap slingbacks.

Now that’s what I call a chic office look that’s also comfortable.

You don’t have to spend a lot to find a great leather midi skirt so I’ve linked several options below to help you in your shopping!

Yes! I love leather skirts of all lengths. It appears that leather pants, especially joggers, are coming into style, and we are here. for. it. The skirt is definitely versatile for all occasions.
