I know everyone is all about fall and fall fashion – but I’m a summer girl through and through. I love the freedom of summer fashion with woven bags, flowy dresses, and easy-to-throw on slides. With the incredibly hot days ahead (especially in Texas) I wanted to provide you with summer outfit inspiration from my own wardrobe!
These are all photos featured on my Instagram feed and heavy in my summer rotation because when I love something I wear it again and again. I’m all about looking put together with a minimal amount of effort and that is never more true than come summertime.
Sticking with neutrals, classic styles and summer wardrobe essentials (like a woven bag) will never fail you. I’ve often midi and maxi dresses to be the most flattering and comfortable option. You don’t have to worry about a gust of wind and can hide the fact if you didn’t feel like shaving your legs – just being honest.
If you’re a fellow dresses girl then opt for smocked dresses as they flattering so many different body shapes. If you’re a pants lover then a pair of linen pants or linen shorts will never go out of style. Bermuda shorts are back in so if you have never liked wearing short shorts you are in luck!
