It’s time for another capsule wardrobe blog post, which means we’ll soon be transitioning into the next season. Well, not so much in Texas. If you live in a milder climate than the South, you might start thinking about fall fashion. I wanted to put up my 2022 fall capsule wardrobe to help you find those transitional wardrobe pieces.
One of my favorite transitional pieces is a great trench coat; this fall is no exception. This season trench coats are getting elevated — think about fun pleats, embellished buttons, or puff shoulders. As the weather is transitioning you can pair a trench coat, loose denim, and a simple white t-shirt for a look that withstands trends.
The obsession with pink this spring and summer is extending well into fall. Instead of a sweet pink summer dress, take this feminine hue in the fall as a leather skirt or a structured blazer. Pink pairs so well with brown and can make the shade feel more autumnal.
I’ve always been partial to tiny bags, but big handbags are back. A large leather tote with simple hardware will make a great everyday bag for a fall capsule wardrobe. Opt for warmer shades this fall like chocolate browns or camels.
