I have long called myself a #skincarejunkie because I love testing out new products and discovering the latest innovations in the skincare world. Well, skincare and innovation go hand-in-hand and no brand has been quite as revolutionary as Beauty Pie.

They call themselves a luxury beauty product buyer’s club—encouraging brand loyalty in a way I haven’t seen in a while. Instead of switching from brand to brand, you can sign up for a monthly or annual membership and receive a huge discount on high-quality beauty products.

No MLM or confusing membership terms. Just a 1,2 step and poof affordable skincare products. Yes, that does exist.

I know you’re probably thinking “Not another membership,” but give this post a read to see if Beauty Pie is right for you. You definitely don’t need to sign up to shop. I am in no way affiliated with the brand. I’ve just been using their products for the last 3-4 months and have come to really enjoy the brand—even forgoing beloved products I never thought I would switch from.

You can count me as a Beauty Pie lover now.

Beauty Pie Skincare Review

What makes Beauty Pie different?

They believe in cutting out the middleman to ensure the savings get passed onto the customers without compromising the quality. It’s like a co-op for beauty products. If you think about it brands need to recover enough money to offset things like expensive retail locations and the overhead for each location—who do you think pays for that?

We do! Instead, the Beauty Pie monthly membership is used to offset their costs.

When beauty products are only getting more and more expensive (thanks to inflation) finding quality, affordable beauty products is like a sigh of relief. Also while there are no traditional retail locations, Beauty Pie still works with the same scientists and manufacturing facilities that many mainstream luxury brands do.

How does the subscription work?

You don’t have to join the membership to shop the brand. I repeat: you DON’T need to sign up for a membership to shop.

I first bought one product to try (just to see if I liked the brand) because why sign up for a membership if I don’t like the products, right?

Since the savings were so considerable I decided to sign up when I purchased my second product. When a serum can go from $79 without the membership to $17, it’s hard not to. If you plan on purchasing from the brand on a semi-regular basis then it just makes sense to go that route.

You have 3 options:

  • 3-month membership (with one-time welcome kit valued at $350): $99
  • Annual membership (can cancel anytime): $59
  • Monthly membership: $10

I personally did the annual membership since it gave the most savings.

Is the skincare subscription worth it?

In one word: Yes!

The savings are just a no-brainer. Whenever you see a product it shows both prices and it’s kind of hard to pass that up as well as the member-specific benefits.

With the ability to cancel anytime, 70% off retail pricing, and free shipping it just makes sense.

When so many of the products are near-exact dupes for cult favorite luxury products like Diptyque candles and Dr. Barbara Sturm serums, it doesn’t make you want to pay more for those. In my mind, all that matters are the quality ingredients and not just paying for the name.

What are your thoughts on the products you’ve tried?

+ Triple Hyaluronic Acid & Lipopeptide Serum

This hyaluronic acid serum happens to be one of Beauty Pie’s bestsellers. What makes it different from other hyaluronic acid serums I’ve tried in the past is that it’s packed with three weights of Hyaluronic Acid: plumping Polysaccharides, Pro-Ceramides, and gravity-fighting Super Peptides. They call it a GENIUS in a bottle, and it is.

+ Superdose™ C C- Suite Rapid Action Power Brightener

I have fallen in love with this vitamin C serum, and now I know why. I recently read this is an affordable dupe for my favorite vitamin C serum on the market: Skinceuticals CE Ferulic (which costs almost $200 a bottle). With the membership, the Beauty Pie bottle costs only $19!

I love that this product is “sandwiched” with powerhouse ingredients—Vitamin C, Ferulic Acid, and Tranexamic Acid—for a really potent product. I’ve noticed a difference in the brightening of my skin and my overall complexion after 2 months of use.

Also, the bottle makes it easy to see when you’re about to run out, which sounds simple but so many brands have entirely opaque packaging.

What’s in your cart next?

Super Retinol Ceramide-boost Anti-aging Face Serum (3% Retinol Complex)

Superdrops™ Brightening Niacinamide (10%)

Triple Hyaluronic Acid Hydra-glow Sheet Mask x5
