After a little time away, I’m back with my favorite kind of post—a capsule wardrobe. Building a capsule wardrobe each season helps me focus my shopping, ensuring I invest in versatile pieces that take me effortlessly from day to night. And while my fashion choices will look a little different this spring (hello, third trimester!), I’m still finding ways to incorporate timeless classics with a few trend-forward pieces for Spring 2025.
Of course, pastels and florals will always have their moment in spring, but what I love about Spring 2025 is the return of true classics—timeless pieces becoming the trends. Think ladylike jackets and cardigans paired with structured handbags, like The Row’s suede bowler. (I found the perfect Amazon dupe that’s a fraction of the price and works well beyond spring—even into fall.)
This season, you don’t have to say goodbye to the soft browns from fall and winter. Instead, freshen them up by pairing them with pastel pink (a key color this season) or butter yellow for a softer, more feminine feel.
One thing’s for sure: Spring 2025 is all about contrast. On one end, we have ultra-romantic details—ruffles, sheer fabrics, lace, and bows. On the other, there’s a resurgence of summertime prep—Breton stripes, chinos, sweaters over the shoulder, and even boat shoes. (Yes, boat shoes are back)
