In this post, I wanted to share with you one of my favorite grab-and-go styles that looks like you put in a lot of effort – even though you didn’t. It involves the latest handbag to my collection, the Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily, which has quickly become essential to my Spring wardrobe.
I’m am fully embracing the simple t-shirt and jeans, but with a twist. I like to add a mix of classic items and the unexpected trend piece to keep it modern.
Read to find out more about this transitional Spring look and my initial thoughts on my first Dolce & Gabbana handbag for all of you fellow handbag junkies out there.
Jeans//New Look (also love these cropped jeans) T-shirt//Zara (similar grey t-shirt)
Jacket//Camaieu (similar tweed jacket) Handbag//Dolce & Gabbana
Slides//Sam Edelman
I have nothing to wear. Where do I start?
If I was to give anyone advice on what to wear when you have no idea what to quite put together, I would say to start with a t-shirt and jeans. Sounds simple right?
From there you can add your own unique pieces and it’s so easy to dress up from day to night by just changing shoes, a handbag, or your accessories.
I paired this simple outfit with a classic tweed style jacket, my blush pink (the color of the season) Dolce & Gabbana handbag, and my favorite Sam Edelman metallic mules that I can’t stop pairing with anything and everything.
Now onto the real reason why you are here…
Meet my new Dolce & Gabbana Handbag
I have welcomed a new handbag into my luxury collection, and this is my first post to share her with you (yes, her). A few years ago in Nordstrom, I tried on this Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily handbag in black. I was just a college student at the time, and this was way out of my price range – way out!
However:
I never forgot about this handbag, and it just goes to show how hard work can pay off. It can be nice to treat yourself, and for me, I choose to do that with handbags.
I love the structured shape of this Dolce & Gabbana handbag with the fun pop of color and accents of the gold hardware. I normally opt for silver, but the gold dresses the handbag and is a fresh change from my norm.
The blush pink adds a touch of color and femininity to a simple outfit while also remaining a great alternative to the traditional neutrals – black, brown, grey, navy. I promise you this is the new neutral, and you would be surprised how easily this color can pair with so many different shades.
