Welcome the newest handbag to my collection – the Prada canvas tote.
Many of you know by now that I am what you would call a handbag junkie. If there was a handbag rehab then you should send me there. I don’t what it is about a beautiful handbag that makes me all giddy inside, and when I want a bag in my collection bad enough I actually start to dream about it.
That’s how I knew I had to have this super versatile Prada canvas tote in my life.
This all started when I was looking for a new travel bag. I’ve been using my Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily as my carry-on handbag on planes. It’s done surprisingly well despite the light color, but I always felt it was a bit too nice to schlep around airports and throw under my seat. I wanted something that I could be a bit more careless with.
That’s where this Prada canvas tote comes into play. It will be my new travel bag, beach/pool bag, and errand bag. I love that while it serves all of these many different purposes, it is still really wearable in everyday life and would be a fashionable handbag to carry.
I’m not about buying a nice handbag for only one purpose.
I really want to make sure I can get a lot of wear out of my nicer items and maximize that cost per wear. Before, deciding on the Prada canvas tote I considered this Goyard tote and was really intrigued by the Chanel Deauville, which I thought about checking out on the pre-loved market.
