I used to be partial to a good LBD for Summer. Black always seemed so much more carefree than white. You don’t have to worry if you sat on a dirty bench or fear that your undergarments could be seen should you wear the wrong shade of nude. However, this year I have not only come to love the freshness of a good white dress for Summer but also crave it.
What I love most about Summer is that it feels like a reset. I am more encouraged to work out, ensure I am eating healthy, take time for myself so I never miss a sunny day and feel motivated to dress better. In the winter when the days are shorter and the temperatures are much much colder all I want to do is snuggle inside and never leave the comfort of my couch.

no white after labor day no longer applies in today’s modern age where you have the opportunity to experiment with fashion.
However, a good white dress just is so quintessentially Summer, am I right? Just like an LBD a LWD never goes out of style, is perfect for dressing up and down, and is flattering on so many different skin tones. It is a classic that every woman should have in her wardrobe.
