Friday Favorites #10: Valentino Dupe, Self Tanner & Inexpensive Flowers

The last few weeks have been extremely busy as I have adjusted running my blog and going back to work. I forgot how difficult it can be to run your own side business when you are subjected to someone else’s schedule so props to all of the other bloggers who work full time and run a successful blog. I also couldn’t be happier now that’s Summer – my favorite season. There is nothing quite like warm weather and sunny days.

My Friday Favorites

Rent The Runway Unlimited – I recently shared my experience with Rent The Runway Unlimited, their membership service where you can rent clothing, handbags, and jewelry throughout the month for one flat rate. It has been really helpful as a blogger to create content without the costly investment of clothing, and I have even been using the service for work appropriate dresses.

Wayfair Full Length Mirror – My full-length mirror is currently on sale at Wayfair currently for over 60% off. It’s the perfect shade of bronzed gold and really high quality.

OPI ‘Mod About You’ – After wearing nudes and neutrals for the last two years I decided to venture out recently and I think I found my new favorite nail polish shade. It’s the prettiest baby ballerina pink that would be flattering on so many different skin tones. It has even become a contender for my wedding day nail color.

Energy Balls – I’ve become addicted to energy balls. They are the perfect snack or treat when you want something sweet but contains healthy ingredients. I recently made these chocolate and peanut butter energy balls for the first time, and the recipe only calls for 5 ingredients.

Valentino Sandal Dupe – After hearing great reviews I decided to purchase these Valentino rockstud sandal dupes yesterday, and for only $17 you can’t go wrong. They should be delivered tomorrow (thanks to Amazon Prime) so I will let you know my thoughts on Instagram Stories.

Madewell Tee – I have a few Madewell tees, but I normally wait till they are on sale as Madewell is usually included in sales from Nordstrom to Net-a-Porter. I recently purchased this basic grey tee and it is so soft.

Slip Pillowcase – I always thought a silk pillowcase was a waste of money and didn’t quite understand it, but I can officially say I have been converted. Not only is this pillowcase so soft and luxurious, but it has a lot of beauty benefits. It helps to reduce hair frizziness and wrinkles over time because the material doesn’t pull on your hair or skin.

St. Tropez Purity – I’ve been testing out new self-tanning products, but I have realized I keep going back to my tried and true St. Tropez. It provides a natural color (no orange color here), is pretty much foolproof, and doesn’t transfer onto your Summer whites.

Trader Joe’s Flowers – I love having fresh flowers in my home, but that can get expensive. I am always on the hunt for beautiful flowers that are inexpensive. Trader Joe’s has a great selection of fresh flowers for a pretty reasonable price. Just check on Instagram and you’ll see the beautiful peonies they are stocking right now.

Sachin & Babi – One of my favorite blog posts recently was what to wear to a black tie wedding because I was obsessed with the ball gown I wore. It was surprisingly comfortable and fit like a glove even though I rented it. I’ve never heard of the brand before, but I keep finding so many pieces I love like this pair of tassel drop earrings.
