The infamous and annual Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is almost here! If you aren’t familiar with the Nordstrom sale – every year Nordstrom discounts new fall merchandise and current season pieces. It is probably one of the most important sales that Nordstrom holds in the year.
As a big advocate of Nordstrom and a veteran shopper, I want to make sure you make the most of the sale of this year. I’m sharing everything you need to know from important dates, how to shop the sale, top tips, and upcoming content that will help you sift through the thousands of listings. Are you ready for the sale?
EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
WHEN IS THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
– Early Access for Nordstrom cardholders begins July 12th
– Anniversary sale opens up to the general public on July 19th
– Prices go back up on August 5th
HOW TO SHOP THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE?
To shop the Nordstrom sale with early access you must be a Nordstrom cardholder. If you don’t have one already click here to apply (right now you can get a $60 note if you apply before July 10th). It’s a credit card for in-store and online purchases that provides you with a lot of rewards such as double point days, triple point days, notes towards future purchases and much more.
If you would prefer not to get a Nordstrom credit card you can shop the sale starting July 19th and use your preferred payment method.
TOP TIPS FOR SHOPPING THE NORDSTROM ANNIVERSARY SALE:
– Shop the sale online: I cannot recommend it enough. You have access to more stock and can easily filter between the items like setting a price range. With Nordstrom’s free shipping and free returns and in-store pick-up, you can’t go wrong. You don’t need to have a Nordstrom location near you to shop.
– Buy more than you think you need: Stock goes fast during the sale so if you are considering an item I highly recommend just buying it. You can always return items after and Nordstrom has the best return policy I’ve seen.
– Pricier items: Now is a great time to pick up those pricier items you wouldn’t want to pay full price for. Mother denim makes my favorite jeans, which is the first thing I’ll look for in the sale.
– Use your personal double points day: If you’re a cardholder and haven’t used your double points day now is the time to do so. It helps you get closer to a Nordstrom note for those future purchases.
