Springtime is here and I couldn’t be more excited for floral prints, dress weather, and pastels. If you are someone who doesn’t scour the pages of Vogue or meticulously watch the runway shows for the latest trends but still want to be in the know – I’m here to help. I’m sharing one of this spring’s hottest colors, pastel yellow, and how to style it!
I don’t tend to delve too heavily into trends because I prefer to purchase items I know I’ll wear year after year. However, I do enjoy adding in trends here and there and one of the easiest ways to do that is with color.
One on-trend color to look out for this season is pastel yellow.
Think of that soft buttery happy shade of yellow that is surprisingly flattering on many different skin tones. I NEVER (literally never) thought I could wear yellow but have found pastel yellow (like the LoveShackFancy dress I styled) to work for my coloring. It can also act as a great neutral.
Adding on-trend colors into your wardrobe still allows you to make smart purchases but remain in style.
You can’t go wrong this season with a yellow dress, cardigan or blouse. If you’re a bit hesitant to style yellow due to your coloring style pastel yellow accessories for a similar effect.
