April Instagram Recap: Easy Spring Outfit Ideas

I’ve been thinking lately and realized I wanted to get back to why I created this blog. To inspire women to think outside the box with fashion and help my audience put together outfits that make them feel great. So, in today’s post, I’m sharing spring outfit ideas from actual looks I’ve worn this season on my Instagram.

Many of these spring outfits you can easily transition into summer at the end of next month (wow this year is flying by). Transitional weather makes spring dressing confusing depending on where you live. A few items I live by on those confusing days are tissue-thin sweaters, a classic trench coat, and a utility jacket. It’s all about thin layers that you can easily throw on or take off as the temperamental weather changes.

If you’re looking to be on trend this season two colors you can’t live without are sage green and yellow. You would be surprised at how wearable these colors are and I have even been wearing sage as a neutral.

I never – and I mean NEVER – thought I would wear yellow as it’s not the most flattering color on me. I’ve realized it’s all about finding the right color of yellow to work with your coloring. The easiest shade of yellow I’ve found to style is a soft butter yellow or pastel yellow. It’s a hint of yellow without being too overwhelming.
