The weather in Texas is far too warm for me to think about curating a fall 2021 capsule wardrobe, but I am here to make sure (no matter where you live) that you can prepare for a stylish fall. Each season I curate a selection of 25 seasonal pieces to take you from day to night. Whether you’re running errands or going out to dinner these pieces are meant to seamlessly coordinate.
I try to incorporate seasonal classics – because if you intend to mix & match classics are the way to go along – and a few trendier items. The point of the capsule wardrobe is meant to be functional but also fun.
Earth tones, suede, and leather will always be in style for fall, however, if you want to add Fall 2021 trends into your wardrobe then you can’t go wrong with a long suede coat, pastel sweaters, collegiate vibes, and metallic accents.
In the last several seasons we have seen a resurgence of 1970’s fashion and fall 2021 will not disappoint. Fringe, slouchy boots, and pleated dresses are a great way to add that 70’s flair to your wardrobe without feeling like a costume party.
We also saw an influx of colorful coats at the beginning of the year and this will continue this fall. Think pastels and all colors of the rainbow to brighten up the colder months. Coats in butter yellow, hot pink, lilac, or mint green will be the perfect addition to any neutral outfit.
