We are well into Fall now, and inching our way closer to the Christmas season. As we find ourselves in the colder months we tend to gravitate towards deep and rich colors, and thicker textures – chunky knits, suede, and velvet. This Fall and Winter season I have been pleasantly surprised with all of the trends, and I am fully embracing it.
Don’t get me wrong as a big lover of all warm weather and Summer months, I still consider it my favorite time of year. However, this season I am having fun experimenting with the latest seasonal trends. In this post, I am showing you how I mix two major Fall essentials: burgundy and plaid.
You could low key call me a handbag addict. If there was one item in my wardrobe that I could spend all of my money on that would be a handbag. A handbag is an everyday essential for most, and if chosen correctly can be worn for many years to come.
To me, it is that perfect accessory to take a simple outfit and make it fashion forward, and can easily make your high street outfit look luxe. In this post I want to introduce you to the newest handbag in my collection and my new go-to bag – my Gucci Dionysus mini.
Unless you’ve been living under a rock since 2004 you will know the infamous line from Mean Girls, “On Wednesday’s we wear pink.” In this Wednesday’s post I am rocking a pink graphic sweater. Lately, I’ve been finding myself gravitating towards pink sweaters of all hues – from baby pink to deep hot pink.
If you’ve been following me for awhile then you will know that powder pink is my favorite color for handbags, and the new neutral in my opinion. Pink sweaters have been making a splash recently in a price points. It’s a color that can go well with so many skin colors, and adds that element of femininity to any look.
See how I paired this light pink graphic sweater with a leather skirt for an edgier look.
I’ve always loved the look of leather leggings – so chic and sleek. It offers that cool girl chic vibe that I am constantly talking about on my blog, and an element that I always try to implement in my outfits in real life.
I was worried that leather leggings would accentuate my thighs and large booty, which are areas that I generally don’t want to emphasize. When I discovered these leggings about two years ago in Nordstrom, I realized I too could rock this sleek leather look.
Today I am going to share with you my favorite affordable leather leggings, and one of the many ways I like to style them.
