I’m one of those people who has a running list in their head for everything. This includes a fashion wishlist – per season, per price point, per mood and so on. It’s constantly changing to reflect my ever-growing style. As my birthday approaches next month and I begin to think what I will write for my traditional x things learned in my x years post (you’ll read the latest soon enough), I have come to realize that my style is simplifying over the years.
I believe in quality, versatile, and easy pieces with little fuss. I want to find those items that I want to wear over and over and challenge myself to pair in new ways. I think my Spring and Summer fashion wishlist will definitely reflect this philosophy.
SHOP MY TOP 10 FASHION WISHLIST:
1. BaubleBar Link Bracelet – This classic style bracelet is under $35 but looks so much more expensive. I have only had the best experience with my many BaubleBar pieces and they are my favorite brand for trendy by affordable jewelry. Seriously, they always seem to get it right.
2. Max Mara Sunglasses – Next to handbags, sunglasses are my favorite accessories. They can really change your look whether you want to be trendy or classic. I don’t wear makeup in day-to-day life so sunglasses are perfect to mask that. Partly, because I love to let my skin breath but also let’s call it what it is – laziness.
3. Ferragamo Belt – In my late teens and early 20’s I despised belts. I felt they were uncomfortable and just an unnecessary accessory. However, I now completely understand their appeal and often feel something is missing in my simple outfits. I have gone back and forth between whether or not to invest in the infamous Hermes H belt or the Gucci logo belt, but I love that the Ferragamo reversible belt is much more subtle than the previous two.
4. Clare V Basket Bag – I think it is no secret at this point that I love all bags straw, woven, and basket alike. I mentioned this specific bag in my trend talk post about the coveted basket bag trend and quickly fell in love with this one. I like that you still get the vibe of the trend, but it is still a classic. I could easily pair this handbag throughout the seasons without feeling silly.
5. Kenzo Leather Espadrilles – I have wanted a pair of leather espadrilles since Chanel came out with theirs, but I could never quite get over the price point because espadrilles are not known to be the most long-lasting shoe. That’s why the Kenzo price point is much better. I love the classic all white leather for that pop of freshness because we know I love white for Spring and Summer.
6. Tod’s Loafers – My love for Tod’s classic loafers goes back many years, but I have never taken the plunge (however, I almost bought this pair last night). These shoes truly never go out of style and come in every color under the rainbow. I was obsessed with the blush pink Gucci Loafers, which are sold out nearly everywhere. These give me those similar vibes and I love the updated lizard texture from Tod’s.
7. Ash Poison Sandals – I mentioned these exact sandals in my last blog post where I talked all about my favorite investment sandals in my collection and other luxury sandals I was considering for this season. These are very close dupes for the Valentino rockstud sandals but for a fraction of the price. I’ve heard several other fashion bloggers who own both pairs say they actually prefer the dupe version.
8. Maison Labiche Tee – I heard about this brand from a fellow Dallas blogger (Being Bridget), and have had my eye on the brand since last Summer. The tees are fairly simple and just have small cursive writing with cute phrases or words from mademoiselle to Cherie. You can even customize your own tee or sweatshirt on their website. This would make such a fun gift.
9. Linen Blazer – I think we can all agree that a blazer is a wardrobe staple. However, all of my blazers are for cold weather and are usually made from wool. A linen blazer is a perfect accessory to wear for those chillier nights when you want to look more classic and put together. I would love to pair a linen blazer with jean shorts and a basic tee for a casual chic look.
10. RE/DONE White Jeans – I generally prefer to stick around the $100 range for my jeans because in my mind no one can tell whether you spent $100 or $250. However, white jeans are another story as they are so hard to get right. You want a thick material to ensure there is enough coverage (nobody wants to see your underwear), and you don’t want to be able to see the pockets. It’s very distracting from the sleekness of white jeans so a quality pair is the only way to go.
These are some of the items on my current fashion wishlist? What do you have on your own wishlist? Let me know in the comment section below! I can’t be the only one who creates these.

Thanks so much, Lydia! It looks so much more expensive than it is 🙂
I’m totally the same way as you with belts! I used to think they are pointless but now I find they REALLY pull together an outfit. Loving that tan jacket you are wearing too, as well as that chain bracelet. xx Shannon || http://www.champagneatshannons.com

Yes exactly! That’s my favorite thing to do. Buy items that I can in many different ways so I never have to think too much about getting dressed 🙂
Espadrilles are on my list too! I’m looking for some platform versions.

Yes, I love platform espadrilles too. There is a wedge style I know from See by Chloe that are really cute if you’re interested 🙂
