I love the festive season – the yummy treats, time with family and friends, and the excuse to get dressed up. As I’ve said before even this is supposed to be the most joyful season it can also be the most stressful for some. All of the holiday parties means you have to find something to wear without breaking the bank, which can be really hard to do. I love to go all out, but sometimes my wallet doesn’t feel the same.

That is where Rent The Runway comes in.

This is post is in not sponsored by Rent The Runway (although I would love that so RTR hit me up). I discovered their service in college and could now never imagine shelling out big bucks for a formal dress I would probably only wear a few times.

I wish I had more cocktail parties to attend year round, but that just isn’t the case.

Rent The Runway is a service that allows you to rent designer dresses for a fraction of the price. They even take care of dry cleaning so you don’t have to, and give you the option to rent another size for free so you never have to worry that a dress doesn’t fit properly.

This navy and lace number fit like a dream and would make the perfect NYE dress for a more elegant evening or cocktail party. I love that this dress is different than what you might expect for a typical NYE dress – no sequins or bodycon dresses for me.

I added a jeweled J.Crew headband for some bling and my favorite crossbody bag turned clutch. It may look small, but you would be surprised how much it actually fits.

What are your NYE plans? Are you partying the night away or having a more casual night in with friends? Let me know in the comments!

That’s very nice. I really love the lace and the color is very vibrant.
