I’ve mentioned countless times on my blog that my fashion philosophy is all about putting in a minimal amount of effort but with maximum results. Date night outfits are no different for me. I still love to get dressed up and style a fantastic outfit, but I am very careful with the pieces I do buy so getting dressed becomes as easy as possible.

I love to buy items that make me feel good, can be easily be paired with other items I already own and work for multiple different occasions. It helps me limit the number of random things I buy just because they were cute or on trend.

That doesn’t always mean it will work for your lifestyle or aesthetic.

I decided to pair a fun leopard print top (one of the biggest prints this season) with a sleek leather skirt. I love that this leather skirt isn’t too form fitting so it gives more of a classic and mature feel. If the leopard is a bit too much for you then you could easily pair this leather skirt with a chunky sweater and knee-high boots or a luxe silk blouse.

Whatever you decide to wear for your date night remember the most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident. I always find it obvious when someone doesn’t like what they are wearing and fidgets with their outfit all night. You want to be able to enjoy your date and nothing is better looking than confidence.
