OUTFIT DETAILS: LONG SLEEVE FLORAL DRESS | PLAID BLAZER (OLD, SIMILAR BLAZER) | TOE CAP SLINGBACK (LOVE THIS SLINGBACK FROM EXPRESS FOR $68) | BUCKET BAG | CAT EYE SUNGLASSES
One of my greatest discoveries and obsessions in the last year and a half has been Rent the Runway. I know that is quite the statement, but it’s the truth. It’s forever changed the way I shop and can’t see myself stopping my unlimited membership anytime soon.
No, they didn’t pay me to say this — although, I wish!
As a shopaholic (self-proclaimed or not), clothes are my drug and I love constantly discovering new ways to style items or trying new trends. It’s like I never got over that dress up phase and Rent the Runway allows me to indulge my inner girly girl and play dress-up continually.
So how does Rent the Runway work?
You can rent an item for a one-time rental or you can sign up for their monthly memberships. You pay one flat monthly fee and can rent designer items ranging from sweaters to sunglasses that work within your specific membership.
They’ve recently come out with new memberships that are more affordable, but I prefer the unlimited because it means I can rent unlimited items within the month. As someone who takes a lot of photos of what I wear this works well for me.
If you’re looking to refresh your wardrobe each season without having to spend a lot then this is a great way to do that. When I saw this floral print dress from Sweet Baby Jamie (a line exclusive to Rent the Runway) I knew I had to rent it. I think it’s no secret around here that I love wearing floral dresses all year long.
Unsure about wearing florals for fall?
Pair it with classic fall accessories like this statement bucket bag or a plaid blazer over your shoulder. Unfortunately, this oversized blazer is from Zara a few years ago but I found a similar plaid blazer so you can recreate the look.
To keep the outfit classic I paired my favorite Karen Walker sunglasses that go with everything and toe cap slingbacks – the best Chanel dupes I’ve ever found. If you’re looking for a dupe of my dupe then Express makes a gorgeous pair for $68 that I’ve been tempted to buy myself.
To help you play around with your wardrobe this fall, I’ve included some of my favorite picks for the season from Rent the Runway because it’s so much more than renting one-time event dresses – it’s a new way to shop!

I know exactly what you mean! I’ve had that happen so I’ve just purchased the items. Rent the Runway lets you purchase anything you rent at a crazy discount so I’ve done that more than I probably should haha
Rent the Runway is the best! I can’t wait to try some of these looks out!
