Over the last year and a half, I have come to discover the wonders that Amazon has to offer – from beauty to fashion and now home. It’s not a place I would have traditionally thought of when it comes to decorating my home but I have discovered some great affordable and chic Amazon home finds that I had to share with you.
As much as I would love to have an endless budget when it comes to decorating my home (what a dream) that just isn’t the case so I’ve found creative ways to have a chic, timeless, and stylish home on a budget.
While I consider myself lucky to have family antiques passed down through generations that act as a great base for decorating, I feel like it’s the little things that give your home personality. No matter your style you can find great Amazon home finds that fit with your taste.

#1: Decorative Throw Pillow Cover
Throw pillow covers can get quite expensive. As much as I love pillows and how they tie a room together, I just can’t quite force myself to spend $60+ per pillow cover. Is that just me?! I found this French toiles pillow cover on Amazon for only $17 and it comes in blue + red as well. I couldn’t resist the green print though.
#2: Bistro Table & Chair Set
As the weather warms up I love to sit outside drinking a coffee, having wine, or eating al fresco. This is my version of being outdoors. If you have a small space and are in the market for a bistro table and chair set this one from Amazon was just over $100 and is foldable – meaning easy to transport during moves.
This one also came in a few colors, but with my green obsession I couldn’t pass up this mint shade.
#3: Silk Pillowcase
I’ve been sleeping on only silk pillowcases for 2-3 years now because not only are they incredibly soft but also have numerous beauty benefits. Since silk produces less friction when we rub against it that means it helps with hair frizziness and breakage as well as ensuring your skincare products don’t sink into the fabric.
I’ve been purchasing the Slip Silk pillowcases (which are quite pricey) but knew I had to test out the Amazon dupe. While the Slip pillowcase is softer, I don’t notice a large difference that warrants the big price difference. I guess it’s just preference!
#4: Wool Dryer Balls
Call me cheap but I’ve never been one to purchase dryer sheets. I felt like it was a waste to keep purchasing something you only use once. That’s when I discovered wool dryer balls. They are made from natural wool and last around 1,000 cycles. All you have to do is throw them in the dryer just like a dryer sheet and they work their magic.
Over the last few months, I’ve tried these several ways and found the most effective way is to use 3-4 balls with minimal laundry. It doesn’t seem to work well when the dryer is full but really does de-wrinkle my husband’s dress shirts when I have a few items in the dryer – saving me steaming time!
